Learning outside the classroom at Mount Zion, reflects the locally Agreed Syllabus Believing and Belonging in West Yorkshire. We are able to offer a range of age appropriate, cross curricular learning for children, incorporating history, geography, art, English, citizenship and SMSC, with a focus on local communities, heritage and history. We can also help local schools and colleges explore annual events, such as Remembrance, Black History Month, International Women’s Day and Interfaith Week. Our offer acknowledges the diverse nature of British society in the 21st century. All sessions are led by experienced, qualified teachers with current DBS certificates.
Visits are usually possible Wednesday to Friday. There is no fixed charge, but we are grateful for any donation no matter how small; where possible we suggest £3.00 per participant. For more details or to arrange a visit, please contact the Heritage Officer:
