Memories of living and working at Mount Zion

On this page you will find links to two documents which provide first hand accounts of life at Mount Zion in the 1950s and 1960s. Margaret and Ken Jenkin senior, were caretaker and sexton respectively and lived at Mount Zion from 1958 to 1968. Ken junior was the eldest of their three sons - Kenneth, Richard and Alan. He tells evocative tales starting from the perspective of a young boy. Margaret recollects the family's experiences, living, working and playing at Mount Zion.

The stories are reproduced in their own words.
